Since Cecilia is older and more "aware" this holiday season, I really want to try to take to more seasonal activities. We'll see how this goes, but that is my plan. Our first was "Light up the Village" at a local upscale shopping center. We went Friday night; we went out to dinner first at one of Cecilia's favorite restaurants, Turkey Joe's, and then headed to the festivities. It was a cold, cold night. Cecilia had on two long sleeve shirts, a sweater, tights, pants, a coat, a hat, and then was still wrapped up in a blanket in her stroller! We thought she was quite comical looking! The shopping center was all decorated for Christmas, had lots of live music, carolers, Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and even the Lou mayor was there.
One of Cecilia's new favorite activities is to play on the furniture; she loves it! Her favorite is the rocking recliner; she climbs in and out, rocks in it, takes toys in it, etc... It will entertain her for quite a while!
Before heading out to "Light up the Village"

Coloring at dinner

Warming up by a fire!

Look at those eyes!

Warming up again with Daddy, this time by a heater

Watching little kids running around and playing

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive in style!

At the end, she was done!

Playing in the recliner

Playing one night before bed - my crazy haired child!

Another one of her favorite places, the rocking chair she got
for her birthday (which is my old one).
