We've had another very busy few weeks. We had a great Labor Day weekend. My brother and his family and my uncle were in town, and we spent most of the weekend at my parents' house on the river. It was beautiful weather - a tad on the chilly side for swimming, but it was still nice. That Sunday was also Brendan's first birthday, so he had a pool party that afternoon. Monday, we drove up to my aunt's river house to visit with my dad's side of the family. It was a very busy, but fun weekend.
Cecilia is still loving her books and spends much time every day looking at them. She used to find a book, sit down, and sign "more" for us to come read it to her. Then she started bringing the books to us and signing "more" for us to read it. Now she brings it to us, and then literally starts trying to climb up in our laps for us to read it. It is very cute.
Several nights this week, we have gone out in our front yard to play. We didn't think she liked the grass, so I took her out with me to check the mail one day and stood her up in the grass (barefoot) to see what she would do. Well, she ended up walking all over the yard forever and loving every minute of it. So I sat down in the shade and read the mail while she had the time of her life! Surprisingly, her feet were FILTHY afterward. It looked like she had played in dirt! So since then, we have been putting on her sneakers.

Out on the boat!
You can't tell in the picture, but we had just been hit by a big wave!
Cecilia got a face full of water and was completely fine with it.
Playing with Alexandra who takes such good care of her.

At my aunt's river house, trying to get a picture of all three babies.
Again, trying to get all babies; it was very difficult!
My dad taking the kids to see the singing fish.

At the park with Mason.

Dirty feet!
More dirty feet!
Bubble bath time!
Out in her sneakers; it was her first time wearing real sneakers!
This is an example of a common problem we have around here.
Cecilia often loses her pants! Since she is on the thin side,
the elastic does not even stretch on a few on her pants!
I'd love to have that problem.
