5 months (mid Oct to mid Nov)

Cecilia turned five months old last week. She has had quite a busy last month, developmentally and socially. She is now a pro at rolling over belly to back and enjoying tummy time much more, she is reaching and grabbing at just about everything usually then putting it in her mouth, she LOVES to sit-up on your lap with only support for balance, she has figured out how to make raspberries, she can hold her bottle, she has found her feet and ears, and she continues to love playing with her hands.

She took two trips this month. The first she flew to SC with me for a baby shower and did great, and the second, she drove up to Dayton with my parents and me last weekend to visit my brother and his family. Again, she did great in the car. However, she did have a major blow out on the way back, and of course the Arby's we were at did not have a changing table! So we changed her on my dad's pillow:) on the driver's seat of the car; you do what you gotta do!

She did not have a routine doc appt this month, but I am assuming she weighs close to 15 lbs. She is wearing 3-6 month clothes with many of them still a little big on her and Size 2 diapers. She also got sick TWICE this month! First was double ear infections on Halloween, and then last week caught a viral infection that started with my mom and then passed to my dad, Cecilia, John, Jennie, Elijah, and now Christian! Luckily, we caught each illness early, and they didn't last long. She is on breathing treatments for her viral infection, and she loves getting them. She settles down and often even falls asleep during them!

With a death grip on her toy and a hand in her mouth!

Holding her breathing treatment (that she loves!) to
help with her viral infection!

And holding her bottle for the first time the same night!
