Lily is doing great! Her 18M appt is not until next week (I will update that part later), so I am really not sure how much she weighs. My guess is somewhere around 19-20lbs. Her clothes size is all over the place! She is wearing some clothes that were too big for her last summer (so those are 6-9 months) and some clothes that were Cecilia's the summer she turned one (12-18 months). She is still very much in a size 3 diaper and wears a size 4 shoe. UPDATE: she weighed 19.6 lbs (less than 5%) and was around 31 inches (25%).
She is now a HUGE climber, which is new to us, as Cecilia was not much of one. If it is something that can be climbed on, she will, and she will do it over and over again! It almost a full time job making sure she does not serious injure herself. My biggest issue is that she can get on the kitchen chairs now, which means she can get to everything on the kitchen table....which was my last spot in the house to put things that were up and away from her.
She is a very active girl, always moving and doing, but she is really a good baby. She does a great job of playing on her own and is relatively go with the flow. However, she is starting to show her feelings more and more when she is not happy about something being taken from her or moved away from something.
Her language skills have really picked up the last month. She was probably at about 10 words the end of May (and had been around there for a couple months), and is now at probably 35-45 words. She has definitely hit the point that she can pick up new words very quickly and relatively easily - even sometimes saying words that I never really taught her.
These were all taken a couple night ago in her room!
