CS&C Brady Blog: Thanksgiving x3!

Well, we are still recovering and resting up from our fun filled, action packed Thanksgiving celebrations. We had three full days (kind of four) of Thanksgiving fun. Wednesday, Cecilia and I went to my parents for most of the day to help my mom prepare food for Thursday. After that we ran a few errands and headed to the O'Dwyer's to get in a visit with Jenna, Sean, and Mason while they were in town. Thursday, we hung out at my parents' and had a traditional T-giving meal with my mom's sister's family. Later that day, we headed out to check the progress on my parents' new townhouse they bought on the river; it is a real fixer upper, but it is def coming along! Friday, we headed to Lex with my parents, Marilou, and Brendan and celebrated with Christian's famly and Jenna and Mason. Saturday, we were at my parents' house again celebrating with my dad's side of the family, which ended up being about 40 people!

Needless to say, the last couple days of celebration (esp Sat, and of course it was the biggest and loudest) Cecilia was pretty out of sorts. I have decided that Cecilia is a bit if an introvert (her grandmother and great-grandmother's granddaughter!); she definitely needs/wants quiet time to herself. Sometimes now when she fusses, she just wants to be put down to play by herself! She spent about an hour of our visit in Lex on the floor alone in the formal living room just living it up! She had been fussing, but after being put down in a quiet room, she was happy as a clam! Come Sat night, she just wasn't in the mood for another party (very tired from not getting enough sleep the previous days) and spent most of the time being fussy in my or Christian's arms. Cecilia spent Sunday at home taking several good naps; one was even 3.5 hours long! Poor baby was so tired!

All in all, we had a great several days. It was great food and great times with friends and family! We definitely have alot to be thankful for this year!
