Last Saturday, my family and my parents went to the Crestwood Festival, put on by the local Lions Club. Everything about it was perfect - the weather (sunny and low 70's), the location (a couple miles down the road), the size (big enough to be fun, but still small), the company;), the price (free parking, free admission, free kids activities, and cheap food), etc... I think it is safe to say we all had a wonderful time, especially Cecilia!

Ready to go have fun!
Cecilia does not always like to be cooperative
for pictures these days.

A wild West re-enactment

Watching the re-enactment with daddy.

Getting a balloon animal - she got to pick out
the color and animal (which is a mouse).

Getting her face painted for the first time.
This is something she has wanted for a LONG time,
so I was so glad to get it for her, esp at the price of $1!!!!

Seeing herself; she was so happy!
All throughout the day she would say
"Look at me, I'm a kitty cat!"

Making a "fall" necklace with beads

Wearing the necklace she just made
while watching kids play.

Playing a simple, yet very fun game.
She had to fill her ladle with water, and then run
and fill up another bowl to see how high she could get it.

She had soooo much fun playing this game!
If you can, click on this picture, so you can see
her expression; it is precious!

The crazy bubble station!
That purple car thing (that actually drives)
makes bubbles too!

After lunch, sitting with Papa listening to
some tunes.
