My big girls

I posted a while back that I had been waiting for the day to bathe the girls together. Well, this is another thing I had been waiting to do! Taking the girls outside to play together! This was the first time we were out where Lily really got to play. Of course when she was younger, we'd go out, but she'd be in her bouncy seat, sitting on a blanket, in a stroller, etc... or we'd go out while she was napping. But now that she is walking well, it was much easier and more fun for everyone. It was still hard trying to keep up with both of them - playing with Cecilia while making sure Lily wasn't eating rocks, etc...

It was a beautiful morning, so we took a walk down to the neighborhood pond - Cecilia rode her tricycle and Lily in the stroller. Fed the ducks with the bread Cecilia carried down in the bucket of her bike. Came back, drew with sidewalk chalk, played with cars on the sidewalk, and then kicked a ball around. We all had a great time, and I really look forward to be out much more now that both girls are older and more able!

A "yes mom" moment.

toward them, I wanted to tell her not to in fear she would
fall and get hurt, but then I quickly changed my mind and
said "yes." She did lose her balance a couple times,
but she had a ball doing it.

I LOVE this next series. They look so big and sweet and cute together!!! It was precious!
