Light up the Village

A new upscale shopping center opened here in Louisville a few years ago, and we have attended their "light up" event every year. It has been a little different every year, and I have to say we had the most fun this year. For one, it was not absolutely freezing cold (amazing what that does for your mood), 2) Cecilia was old enough to REALLY enjoy it, 3) our good friends the Luckett's went with us this year, and 4) we made an evening out of by having dinner at a new restaurant there before walking out to the excitement!

Picture with Santa take 1.
Cecilia was not going up there without me,
and poor Lily wasn't sure what to think!
(I am trying to lean out of the picture and
push Cecilia into it)

Take 2! Better.
I was very impressed with their Santa,
and his outfit.

Lauren and Leighton with Santa.
We couldn't get her to take her eyes off Santa!

Cecilia having a BLAST dancing to
the band at the "town center."

Breaking it down with a girl she befriended
on the dance floor - this is the second time she has down this:)

Waiting for the very decorated, very cool train
for a ride around the shopping center!

The Luckett's on the train.

The Brady's on the train.
(don't miss Lily!)

This is how I found Lily when we got home;)

LOVE this video!
She did this for about 15 minutes straight, and we stopped
her to go ride on the train!

I am sooo disappointed!:( I just watched this on here, and it is
too dark to really see anything (you can see it on my camera though).
Anyway, it is of Cecilia dancing, you can kind of make out
her white ribbons in the middle of the screen bouncing around.

Pictures from previous years:

Last year on Daddy's shoulders listening to the music.

These were the only two pictures I have from last year.
Being VERY pregnant and uncomfortable
was probably the reason to blame.

The first year they opened.
It was soooo cold!

I just noticed we took the same blanket
both years!

Chillin' (literally!) with Daddy while
listening to music.

At the end of the night - She. Was. Done!
