School Christmas Program

Cecilia had her very first school Christmas program last week, and after hearing/seeing Cecilia practice the songs at home the last few weeks, I was soooooo excited about it! Sitting in an audience as a parent and watching your child perform is amazing. It was an a whole new level of joy and pride as a parent. I have to admit my eyes welled up a bit when we heard (but could not see yet) our little babies' tiny voices singing jingle bells and ringing little bells as they walked into the chapel. And then we saw their little faces light up as they each scanned the audience for their parents. They were simply precious! After that Cecilia seemed to have a better time just standing on the stage smiling, and occasionally singing the songs (but not doing any of the motions). Oh well!

Unfortunately, it was dark in there and did
not get any good pics of the performance. She is almost
smack dab in the middle of this shot in the back row.

My mom was in charge of Lily during the performance!;)

Family picture!
Just be warned it was a cheesy
smile day for Cecilia!

Cecilia with her friend Cate.
Cate is the daughter of good friends of ours
Craig and Kelly Brown. Craig was a groomsman
in our wedding. It has been so much fun having
them in the same class this year!

Proud mama!

Proud daddy!

And proud grandma!
