Waking up

Lily always wakes up happy. Like her sister was, you even have to sometimes check on her while she is sleeping to see if she is up bc she doesn't cry. Sometimes she will "call out" when she wakes up during the day, but that is about it. At night, Lily has always let me know she is ready to eat with quiet little moans and groans that increase as time goes on. If you have to get up in the middle of the night, it is the sweetest way to do so. It has been one of my many favorite things about her! Over the last week, the moans and groans were coming on more suddenly and getting louder and louder. Well, last night she did it. She woke up with one "call out" and then started to cry and pretty much stayed unhappy until I could get set up in the living room to feed her. Believe it or not, but it was the first night since she was born I was concerned she was going to wake up Cecilia! I have a feeling this is just another step in her development and a sign that my little newborn is no more.:(
