Naps these days

Naps are very interesting these days with Cecilia. You never know what you are going to get! We were so glad she stayed in bed when we first moved her to her big girl bed, but that all changed with potty training last month. Part of our problem with potty training was that she would hold it until nap or bedtime. So we ended up putting her potty in her room to get her started and gave her permission to get up and go, and that was the end of staying in bed! On the bright side she usually only comes out of her room to go potty (she uses the big potty now), but she will still get out of bed and play - sometimes the entire time! Another positive is that she is neat about it. She will put things away that have been left out; she will sometimes even make her bed! One of her favorite things to do is get into her drawers and get out her ribbons, bows, and jewelry. I will sometimes find her with several barrettes in her hair, every bracelet she owns on, clothes changed (or attempted).

It is not unusual to find her on the floor. Notice the bracelet
in her hand, and just a few minutes before this she had been
playing with the golf clubs, which are now neatly put away.
And of course, bunny (in between her arms) is never far away!

She will also randomly open her door quickly and
set something outside of it, and then close the door real fast.
When I hear it happen, I am always anxious
to get up and see what got kicked out! It is often something that
does not usually belong in her room, like carpet cleaner.
