Cecilia turns 3!

Cecilia's birthday was June 13 (the Monday after her party). With all of the action this summer, I am getting behind in my posts! We started the day in Dayton (we stayed the night after the recital). Jennie (my sister-in-law) goes to work very early and took a break and surprised us all with birthday donuts for breakfast! We were on the road by late morning and were home by early afternoon. The girls and I spend the afternoon unpacking and setting up Cecilia's gift from my brother and his family. We had a quick dinner once Christian got home, and then we headed to a gellato place down the street for birthday ice cream. I showed Cecilia the pink and blue gellato thinking she'd think it was really cool, but no she wanted dark chocolate (she is quickly becoming my little choco-holic!) We ate outside; she made a mess, and then we came home and gave her our birthday present, which was a big hit initially, but she hasn't played with it much since.:( All in all, it was a great 3rd birthday!
